In the ever changing landscape of Eden there are lots of wonderful things germinating and growing vigorously, both physically and inspirationally.

Hi everyone and thanks to all those that came together to celebrate our community gathering on Sunday the 26th October.
Our goal in creating the ‘Eden Community’ was to bring together all guests that have completed programs at Eden and who thus have a greater understanding of themselves and their world.  As you will know if you are a member of our ‘community’, it can sometimes be difficult to find people to relate to once you have ‘smelt the roses’ and returned to your ‘old lives’ with new understanding.  Our hope is that this community can be a support, a non judgmental ear that can assist in making the transition easier to a positive and healthier lifestyle and causing us all to feel supported and heard.
Rather than gathering at Eden on this occasion we had the opportunity to share a very special experience.  Echoes’ in Canning Vale was our host and really did offer us all a very tangible experience of vibration.  Using Gongs and Didgeridoos, in the mathematically designed Teepee, our guides created an energy that moved powerfully through the beautiful space and our bodies!  Comments afterwards confirmed that everyone had experienced very pleasant and in some cases powerful sensations, both relaxing and healing.
The previous day saw a group of us gather at Kitty lab’ in UWA to learn how our new WIKI works  As gatherings every other month mean a long space between ‘fixes’  the WIKI now fills the void and provides a private and secure forum in which we can connect, share and support.  If you have completed a program at Eden Light and would like access to this community please do email Jacqueline at edenlight@edenlight.com and the links and password will be sent to you.  Notification of future gatherings and programs available only to previous guests will be made via the WIKI.
As from April 2009 Eden will be creating Programs on the beautiful island of Bali and the details of these will again be available on our WIKI and open to anyone that has completed a program at Eden previously.
Lots of Love and Gratitude, Jacqueline xxxx

 Garden News!

Those of you that have not yet been part of the Eden Experience may not appreciate the emphasis we place on inspiration and education. A special part of this is to be found in our vegetable and herb gardens. Whilst initially not everyone thinks they have the space, time or inclination to grow their own food, after spending only a short time with us, many do in fact realize that they have all three!

Our organic vegetable gardens are progressively able to supplement the needs of our guests and our hope is that this will increasingly be the case. For those guests that are imminently joining us for your tailored programs you will be able to gather & enjoy the following crops during your stay.

A mixed variety of Leeks, Pak Choy, French Sorrel, Potatoes, Beetroot, Rainbow Chard, Silver beet, Rhubarb and avocados. The lemonades and oranges are wonderful! The Almonds are in blossom as are the flowering plums.

In the culinary herb garden we have Parsley, Basil, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Sage, Borage, Oregano, Golden marjoram, Chocolate, Peppermint & Apple mint, Fennell, Lemon balm & Thyme.

In the medicinal herb garden we have Gota Kola (Penny Wort), Stinging Nettle, St Johns Wort, Wormwood, Elderberry, Yarrow, Coltsfoot, Fragrant Geranium,  Evening Primrose, Plantain, Radium, Dandelion, Marshmallow, Aloe Vera, Valerian, Bay, Lavender and Tansy.

KINESIOLOGY

“Transforming your life”
Would you like to:
Clear old negative patterns?
Be happy? Release stress and achieve emotional well-being?
Achieve your purpose?
Transform your life? Have increased energy?

If you have said YES to any of the above, then Kinesiology could be the answer for you.

“Kinesiology provides access to the whole body: the mind, the spirit, the emotions, and the physical being. In essence all the realms of being that can impact on our health.” (Dr Charles Krebs, A Revolutionary Way of Thinking)

WHAT IS KINESIOLOGY?

The Australian Health Training Package 2006 defines Kinesiology:

Kinesiology is a system of health care that emphasises health maintenance, client education and client responsibility, and identifies causative influences triggering health imbalances.

The British Parliament officially recognised and passed the following definition:

Kinesiology, literally the study of body movement, encompasses holistic health disciplines which use gentle manual muscle testing to monitor information about a person’s well being. It originated in the 1960s, combining Western techniques with Eastern wisdom to promote physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Kinesiology identifies factors which block the body’s natural healing process. These dysfunctions are rectified by attention to reflex and acupressure points, the use of specific body movements and nutritional support. Kinesiology can relieve pain, stress, muscular, and nervous disorders; detect allergies and nutritional deficiencies; assist with psychological and learning problems, stimulate energies and release untapped potential.

Kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) is the practice of muscle monitoring, stemming from chiropractic techniques and the principles of Chinese medicine. Using kinesiology the muscles become monitors indicating stress and imbalance. By muscle monitoring, kinesiology becomes a versatile tool for identifying and correcting various imbalances in your body and therefore in your life.

Sometimes we do not understand what the body is trying to tell us, but muscle monitoring provides a tool that allows the body to “talk”. It opens up the subconscious mind and the spirit to get to the root cause of disease. We can begin to ask questions to find ways of strengthening our system or identify blockages in the natural flow of energy. These blockages present themselves as aches, pains, allergies, learning difficulties, co-ordination problems,  digestive disturbances, poor self-esteem, hormonal problems, fears, phobias, addictions, stress and anxiety, relationship problems, or just feeling unwell.

HOW DOES KINESIOLOGY WORK?

Muscles are the filing cabinets of the subconscious mind. They hold every memory of every move they ever made. Muscles also hold emotional memories of what you were feeling and thinking at the time. By accessing muscles we can bring certain files to consciousness to be dealt with. The emotions are released; the muscle returns to its original length and the aches and pains dissipate.

KINESIOLOGY – A WAY OF HEALING

Healing is the pathway to freedom from all ailments, pains and issues. Healing requires believing; believing is the feeling that you can do anything. Believing that you can be healed and be free of your pains is often all it takes. Kinesiology is, therefore, a reflection of your own unfoldment. The practitioner is merely assisting you to open yourself to the great healing force (or innate intelligence) within each of us.

Emotions are energy in motion, constantly moving through the body. During periods of stress these emotions may become stagnant, leaving you with a prolonged feeling which lodges itself in the body and manifests any of the ailments mentioned above. Kinesiology precisely locates and removes these emotional blockages, identifying the time and situation they occurred. Once removed with the appropriate technique, your natural health, self-esteem and love return.

A  KINESIOLOGY SESSION...

At the start of a session, the client and practitioner discuss the client’s issue and/or health condition, and set a goal they would like to achieve, eg ‘I am happy, successful and fulfilled in my life’, ‘I have a healthy digestive system’, ‘I am safe, secure, and have financial abundance in all areas of my life, both personally and professionally’. The client lies on a massage table so is able to relax during the session and remains fully clothed throughout.

By using muscle monitoring techniques, the Kinesiologist receives indications of where imbalances are within the system.  Various techniques are used, including meridians and acupressure points, flower essences, emotion stress diffusion, sound using tuning forks, to correct the imbalances.

TESTIMONIAL

Since December 2005 … I have suffered countless urinary tract infections (UTI’s). Due to the frequent recurrence of these infections, my bladder became chronically inflamed. This caused me a huge amount of pain….it also made me even more susceptible to UTI’s and impaired my bladder’s normal function to the point where I had both urge and stress incontinence. After countless doctors’ visits and numerous appointments with 2 different urologists, I was put into the ‘too hard basket’…the conclusion was ‘we don’t know what’s wrong with you, just keep taking the antibiotics’. I also tried several other holistic approaches, but to no avail.
‘I was about to resign myself to living a life of pain and discomfort when a family member from interstate suggested Kinesiology .I have had several Kinesiology balances since then and my body has begun to heal itself and my bladder has been steadily improving.
‘I am no longer in agonizing pain and have not had a single UTI since beginning with Kinesiology. …I have also noticed positive changes in many other aspects of my life…successfully securing a new job that I had wanted for months…enriched my relationships with others. I feel much stronger and happier than I ever have before…have shed many emotional burdens carried with me for so long.
‘I would recommend Kinesiology to absolutely anyone, whether it be for physical health problems, emotional reasons, extra help to achieve special goals, or just help with day=to-day life. I would not be the person I am today if I hadn’t given Kinesiology a go.’ LB (March 2008)
